Jeff Lynne's ELO announce extra Birmingham tour date
Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra will play a third date in their hometown of Birmingham, it has been announced.
The band, which formed back in 1971 with Midland members Jeff Lynne, Bev Bevan and Roy Wood, is best known for a huge array of songs including Mr Blue Sky, Living Thing, Evil Woman, Roll Over Beethoven and Don't Bring Me Down.
The group will now play Arena Birmingham on October 13, as well as 10 and 12 which had been previously announced.
From 1972 to 1986, ELO accumulated twenty top 20 songs on the UK singles chart, and 15 top 20 songs on the US Billboard Hot 100.
In 2017, the ELO line-up of Roy, Jeff, Bev, and Richard Tandy were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Jeff Lynne's ELO will appear at Arena Birmingham on October 10, 12 and 13.
