
The Gangotra family - made up of 42-year-old Bobby, her sister 41-year-old Lorna and 33-year-old sister-in-law Monica - were born in Birmingham and grew up on home-cooked traditional fare. The family draws their influences from Thai cooking, Italian cuisine and Lorna's love of Yotam Ottolenghi.

The trio were announced as the winners of the show, judged by Michelin star chef Giorgio Locatelli and cookery teacher Rosemary Shrager.
The show is hosted by Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain and Zoe Ball - and pits teams of families against each other each week in three rounds of cooking challenges.
The Gangotras impressed the judges with aGiorgio's new favourite fish curry and a rice pudding dish.
