Former Bella Italia in Stafford to be transformed into a cafe

By Jordan Harris | Staffordshire | Entertainment | Published:

A former restaurant site which has been vacant for three years could be brought back to life.

A Bella Italia in Walsall

The former Bella Italia restaurant at 20 Greengate Street, Stafford, will be transformed into a cafe under plans submitted to Stafford Borough Council by Jefferson Sheard Architects.

The building is grade two listed and located in the town's main shopping area.

A statement from planners reads: "These works provide an opportunity to bring the ground floor unit back into use and prevent its present decline due to a lack of routine maintenance."
