The Just For Kicks show, to be staged at the Banks’s Stadium on October 27, is the mastermind of Wednesbury-born comic Jonny Cole. It will feature Joe Lycett, Archie Kelly and Wayne Beese.

Cole is the driving force and he hopes to make it a regular feature. The former diesel salesman has emerged as an unstoppable musical-comedy force since

a song about his home town went viral on the internet. His original re-workings of well-known tunes have proved popular with sell-out audiences all over Britain.

He was a headline act on the UK tour of A Black Country Night Out, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, was voted in the top five for Midlands Comedian of 2017

by What’s On magazine and has been a regular on local radio shows. He has even had a local beer named after him thanks to Stourbridge-based Sadler’s Brewery which joined forces with him to brew up the new ale called Fat Face.

Speaking about the show, Cole said: “I'm really excited about this venture and hopefully it will become an on-going thing. The football club are right behind me and have given me the freedom to deliver a great night to remember. Even my family want to come to this one.

“Both Joe Lycett and Archie Kelly are big names on TV and it will be great for people to get to see them on the same bill in such a fantastic venue."

Lycett has appeared live on a variety of television show, including Live At The Apollo, Taskmaster, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 8 Out of 10 Cats and as the announcer on

Saturday BBC One show.

Kelly is best known for his comic portrayal of Kenny Dalglish Senior in the Peter Kay’s award winning Phoenix Nights and has also appeared in Jimmy McGovern's The

Street

As a live performer, Archie emerged onto the alternative comedy scene as Jackie 'Mr Goodtime' Valencio with his  parodies and vocal impressions.

Beese only picked up a microphone for the first time just over three years ago and the Dudley-born comic has quickly cemented a reputation as one of the most exciting up-

and-coming comics in the Midlands.
