Hobgoblin beer and Spotify have joined forces for ‘Unsung Heroes’, championing the next big stars of our music industry and collaborating with local colleges and Access to Music, which is based in Birmingham and Soho, London.

The beer brand, which is part of the umbrella of Marston’s Beer Company is going back to its grass-roots and engage with the next key players of the music industry.

Focussing on working with student groups, Hobgoblin is also offering the chance to get paid internships and work experience and also the chance to be part of Q&A sessions with bands specially selected by Spotify as ones to watch.

The show in Birmingham on June 1 will star headline act Palace and support act Shanghai Blues.

Jo Wyke, for Hobgoblin said: “Birmingham has such a lively and engaging music scene that is the perfect place to finish our tour with a bang.

"We know Birmingham can bring the energy and we can promise a mischievous Hobgoblin experience and the chance to share some legendary beer with your mates whilst listening to some fantastic live music, so what more could you want?"
