Family favourites Peppa Pig and her little brother George will pay a visit to the Severn Valley Railway.

Visitors can enjoy a ride on board one of the SVR's heritage steam locomotives as it takes them on a journey of adventure through the Severn Valley countryside to meet Peppa and George on May 6 and 7.

The famous children's TV characters will be appearing at intervals at The Engine House Visitor Centre at Highley throughout each day.

While there, visitors can help sort the mail in the travelling post office, meet the steam engine that collided with a camel, and see the latest exhibitions.

The Engine House's outdoor play area will also be open for some hands-on fun, and the Coalyard Miniature Railway at Kidderminster and the Paddock Garden Railway at Hampton Loade will be running, weather permitting.
