In never seen before sketches, the tour will unite some of Catherine's best-known characters from her hugely successful BBC series.

The cast will include 'Nan' Taylor, Irish nurse Bernie, Geordie Georgie, Essex girl Sam and a certain argumentative teenager. The show will also feature guest star Mathew Horne.

Tate has won numerous awards for her work The Catherine Tate Show as well as being nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTA Awards.

The show also paved the way for her depiction of Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special of Doctor Who. It was a role she later reprised as she became the Doctor's companion for the fourth series in 2008.

Tate has also featured as Nellie Bertram in the US version of The Office.

However, success has come at a price and Tate has suffered from occasional panic attacks.

She finds it difficult to be positive about many things and said: "I'm an incredibly negative person, so any form of success is only ever going to be a relief to me and set my default position back to neutral."
