Bomber backing for Baggies poster
Albion legend Tony Brown has joined the campaign trail as the Express & Star gets behind the Baggies' bid for Premier League survival.
Our 'Keep Calm and Carry On' posters – backing the Baggies' efforts to save themselves from relegation – will be on offer to fans at Saturday's crunch home clash with Stoke.
Now Hawthorns icon Brown has lent his support to the campaign, during a meet-and-greet visit to supporters in Walsall.
The Express & Star is getting behind Albion's survival campaign and Wolves' bid for Championship glory with posters designed to rally the troops at both clubs.
The Albion version will be given away free around the Hawthorns with copies of our superb Baggies matchday special edition – available to fans at every home match.
The posters went down a storm last night as Brown, along with kitman Dave Matthews, visited Chuckery Working Men's Club to meeting the Walsall branch of the Albion Supporters Club.
The Express & Star is urging fans to back their team by displaying the posters at the must-win clash with the Potters. Fans have already shown their support by snapping up all remaining tickets for the game. Albion displayed the sold-out signs this morning.
The news ensures a red hot atmosphere at the Hawthorns, for a game in which a win would keep alive Albion's realistic hopes of staying in the top flight.
