I have to say at the end of the game last night, it's difficult to think of a more emotional experience at a football match!

We have been poor. We drew 0-0 with an average Costa Rica team but, at the end of the game, the whole England squad came over to the fans.
They stood in a line and, each to a man, looked genuinely humble and in awe of the support they were receiving!
They know they did not deliver and to witness such a passionate following singing their hearts out following the final whistle, actually looked like it touched them! After all, England is for life, not just a World Cup!
