Friday June 13th. Unlucky for some. Especially the defending champions Spain. In a repeat of the 2010 final, Spain faced the Dutch looking for a similar victory that saw them crowned World Champions. It started well as Spain took a 1-0 lead. However, Netherlands decided enough was enough and unleashed their skill on Spain to win 5-1.
2 - Germany 8 Saudi Arabia 0 Korea/Japan World Cup 2002
Record goalscorer Miroslav Klose bagged his first World Cup goals in this 8-0 thrashing of Saudi Arabia. Quite fitting he breaks the record in similar fashion.

At least El Salvador scored a consolation goal. Hungary dominated this game, scoring ten goals in what is the biggest World Cup win.
