A puppy from Staffordshire has followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and qualified for Crufts.
Black cocker spaniel Stanley has managed to make the main show in Birmingham after wowing judges. It was confirmed he would be competing in Crufts at the NEC in March after coming second at the Welsh Kennel Club show recently.
The pet, who goes by the stage name Christiol The Wizard, is owned by grandmother-of-three Marilyn Sanders from Rugeley. His grandfather Harvey has been at Crufts for the last 10 years.
He finished second in the junior category in 2005 and fourth in the veterans class in 2011. Stanley is due to be at the event on the Sunday.
