This is the shocking moment violence spilled on to railway tracks in the West Midlands, leaving one man with a head injury after being punched to the ground.

British Transport Police released the footage in a bid to trace two men wanted over the violence, who later boarded a train to Wolverhampton.

It happened at the Jewellery Quarter station when the victim was waiting with a friend on platform one.

They were approached by a group of four men. Two of the men in the group began to argue with the friends, triggering the scuffle.

Dc Dan Hart from Birmingham New Street said: "The injured man was knocked unconscious and his friend was also hurt during the fight, which happened just before 11pm on June 11.

"Such violent behaviour will not be tolerated and we are determined to identify all those involved.

"We have uncovered images of two men, who we believe may have more information about what happened, and I would appeal to anyone who knows their identity to contact us."
