Chairman Jeremy Peace today presented a Continental-style vision of Albion’s future which will break new ground for The Hawthorns club. The Baggies chairman, hoping to install a new manager before next week’s return to Championship action at Ipswich, is bringing in a sporting and technical director to lead the 127-year-old club into the internet age.


Robbo: Peace row caused split

Bryan Robson today revealed the breakdown of his relationship with Albion chairman Jeremy Peace forced him out of The Hawthorns. The former Baggies boss insisted he did little wrong during his time at the club and said it was the cooling of relations with Peace that led to his departure.


Baggies plan talks with McLeish

Albion will step up their search for a new manager by staging preliminary talks with ex-Rangers boss Alex Mcleish. The former Scotland international, having taken a summer sabbatical from football following his exit from Ibrox at the end of last season, is hoping to get on chairman Jeremy Peace’s shortlist for The Hawthorns vacancy.
