Mowbray back to the future

New boss Tony Mowbray is ready to go back to the future to create a new golden era at The Hawthorns – by using Albion’s team of the 70s as his blueprint. Mowbray, who has signed a one-year rolling contract, has pledged to bring attacking football and entertainment to the Baggies.

Tony Mowbray couldn’t resist making an appearance in Albion’s dugout last night. The new Baggies boss wasn’t supposed to take over the reins until today (Wednesday) but the lure of the hotseat proved too much for him at Selhurst Park as his new side continued their resurgence with a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace.
