Black Country schoolteacher Matt Foreman took the photograph on his phone while walking his dog across the common, near Bobbington, with wife Kim on Sunday morning.

Mr Foreman, aged 47, from Hinchliffe Avenue, Coseley, said he regularly takes a stroll over the common on Sunday mornings with his Jack Russell terrier Boo.

"I like the moodiness of it," said Mr Foreman, who works at Moreton School in Wolverhampton.

"There were actually three-to-four horses walking past, so I cropped it and darkened the corners slightly.

"I have always been interested in photography, my mum worked at GKN, where she was the photographic technician, she got me taking pictures from a very early age."
