Wolves launched their lime green away kit for next season with a good-natured dig at Kortney Hause for leaking the strip back in April.

A few minutes before the reveal the club tweeted sarcastically: "I'm sure you've all been eagerly anticipating news of the colour of Wolves' 2016/17 away kit..."

When they launched the jersey it was accompanied with the strapline: "This time it's official," alongside an image of a phone with a picture of Hause wearing the new kit on it.

The 20-year-old inadvertently leaked next season's home and away kits at the end of April when he posted pictures of them on Snapchat.

He thought he was sending the photo to his friends but the picture went public. He apologised for the mistake and was slapped with a fine by the club.

Thanks to Hause, the majority of fans knew the away kit would be lime green, but this is the first time supporters have seen high-resolution images of the jersey.

The majority of responses to the shirt itself – which bears the controversial Money Shop logo – were positive, and many applauded the reference to the leak.

It costs £42 for men, £35 for ladies, and £30 for juniors. It goes on sale on Saturday but fans can pre-order it online and orders will be dispatched tomorrow.
