With attendances down and the team struggling, Molineux was by no means a fortress for Wolves in 2015/16.

Wolves won only seven home games all year, and produced seven goalless draws - a club record.

Jackett says that it's up to him and his side to get the Molineux noise levels back to what they were.

"We've been missing that atmosphere," he said.

"It's only our performances that have created that atmosphere, whether that be good or bad.

"The atmosphere at the start of the Sheffield Wednesday game was very good and it produced a very good game.

"It does make a difference, but we create it, it's ourselves as a club that has to take responsibility for that, what we do on the pitch mainly and our performance that have to create that atmosphere.

"It's been there certainly in the first two years of my tenure.

"It's fallen away slightly this year but performances have too, and crowds react off what they see on the pitch."

Attendances at Molineux have dropped to their second lowest level since the stadium was rebuilt in 1993.

Season ticket figures have also decreased compared to this time last year.
