Hundreds of parents queued up with their children inside the store on Tuesday afternoon, writes Joe Edwards.

The strikers spent more than an hour interacting with supporters and signing autographs for them.

Mason has scored twice for the club since signing for £3million from Cardiff City late last month.

Polish forward Zyro, who arrived from Legia Warsaw for £350,000, made a big impression before picking up a calf injury.

Both were all smiles throughout and Zyro enjoyed having the chance to introduce himself to the fans.

The 23-year-old said: "Meeting with fans is always very good, and very nice for me and for the fans.

"I did it before at my last club Legia and we had, like this, a lot of meetings and it was a very great time.

"People come here with their children and they may be a little bit scared, but we can speak a little bit and it's very good.

"When I was young, I also met the biggest players in Poland and that was the same feeling."

Mason was flattered with how many supporters went along, considering he has only been at the club for a short period of time.

He said: "It was a big turnout, I was quite surprised but it's nice to see everyone come and get their things signed and have a few photos.

"It's nice because I have only just got here, I am reasonably new so you never really know what sort of turnout you're going to get.

"We sat here for a good hour just signing non-stop, so it is flattering."

Adam Parton, aged 36, from Codsall went along with his son Ewan, nine, and thought it was a great occasion.

He said: "It's great for the lads on their half-term holiday to come and meet the new signings, it's really inspiring."

Season ticket holder Dan Dutton took his stepson Liam Tibbs, who was celebrating his 12th birthday and was given a huge chocolate football as a gift by the club.

He added: "It's been a good day, my son's birthday. We went on a tour on Sunday around the ground, showed him all around the changing rooms and players lounge.

"We rounded it off by bringing him down here to meet a couple of players, and he enjoyed it – some memories he will keep."
