Nouha Dicko: I'll help Jordan Graham through his injury pain

Wolves striker Nouha Dicko is looking forward to his playing return – and helping fellow injury victim Jordan Graham on the way.

Dicko remains hopeful of making his comeback for next pre-season, but admits the anterior cruciate ligament tear cannot be

rushed. The Mali international has been out of action since suffering the injury against Charlton in August – and had a vivid flashback when team-mate Graham suffered a similar fate with his ACL in the match with Cardiff last month.

"When Jordan got injured I was at the game," said the 23-year-old.

"At first I didn't think it was too bad. But then when I saw him in the changing room I realised it was – and I could just see myself there, back in August.

"I talked to him and told him that it would be very difficult at the beginning, but that he would be fine.

"I tried to guide him a little bit like Benik (Afobe) and James Henry did for me. I felt really bad for him. It was such a big blow for him – and for the team, because he was what we needed.

"I have no doubt that if he stays focused on his rehab then he will come back stronger and better."

"Hopefully we will be able to help each other along and stay positive."

On his own progress, Dicko said: "Things are progressing well and I'm feeling really good each day.

"The physios are pleased with how it is going so far.

"It is always difficult not to be playing, but if you stay focused too much on that and the injury it becomes harder to stay positive.

"It is a good feeling to know that everything is going well and that I am not too far away now.

"Every day I am getting closer and that is nice to know.

"I can look forward to what is coming and not really back at what has happened.

"I wouldn't even mind being out there in the bad weather with the wind and the rain!

"But I can't rush with an injury like this and you have to take your time."
