Morgan surprisingly attended his first Wolves match for four months on Saturday, watching the 3-1 defeat to Cardiff at Molineux.

The owner had been in the city for the opening of the £6m youth zone project he has spearheaded.

He resigned as chairman and put the club on the market last September, 48 hours after an altercation with supporters following Wolves' 1-1 draw against Preston at Deepdale.

But, despite not attending matches, Morgan has been in constant contact with the Wolves hierarchy in the intervening months.

Jackett welcomed Morgan's attendance at the Cardiff game and added 'no decision' was made without Morgan's approval.

The head coach added: "He was down for the youth zone opening, it was a combination of those two.

"I can't speak for him but obviously running the rule over the team, seeing where we are and how things are developing.

"It is totally his call (his involvement). He's put the club up for sale, it's obviously his choice, maybe he wants his life to go in another direction.

"In terms of involvement, that will be dictated with Steve by quite a number of things, not just work-wise but with everything that he does, and he does a lot of charity work.

"He's a very busy man. He's very much still involved. There's no decisions made without him, he is still the owner.

"You look at Bolton's troubles where they're struggling financially. Steve is still supporting our club."
