The 17-year-old striker – who scored three minutes into his senior debut earlier this season – was initially given time off to deal with a personal matter.

But he hasn't returned to the club – and bosses at Wolves don't know where he is.

The teenager may even had fled to his native Nigeria, having last been seen at Compton Park on Wednesday November 11.

Enobkahare is also rumoured to have turned up late for training and been fined, leading to him going AWOL, but the true picture of the Nigerian's absence isn't yet known.

It has been suggested Enobakhare is dissatisfied with his lack of playing time for head coach Kenny Jackett's team.

He has appeared on the bench several times this season but only featured as a substitute on two occasions in the Championship, getting seven minutes against both Fulham and Derby County.

But the youngster's senior involvement, which came as a result of a long-term injury to Nouha Dicko before Grant Holt was signed on loan, has meant his under-21 appearances have also been restricted. He has played just 179 minutes for Scott Sellars' side since August.

His attitude won't go down well with club chiefs, although Enobakhare's age and the fact he only moved to England from Nigeria two years ago is sure to be taken into account when it comes to any potential punishment dished out.

The teenager starred during Wolves' pre-season tour of France and was rewarded with a two-year contract in July.

He scored a wondergoal in a 4-3 friendly win over Doncaster Rovers. And Enobakhare followed that up with a strike thee minutes into his full senior debut, the 2-1 League Cup win over Barnet at Molineux on August 25.

The Nigerian was booked for celebrating with the crowd and Jackett withdrew him at half time, fearing he may get himself sent off.

Enobkahare also played 60 minutes in the 3-0 League Cup defeat at Middlesbrough in September.

The player is normally a prolific Twitter user but hasn't tweeted since November 3.
