Wolves boss Kenny Jackett felt his team deserved a point after a spirited performance at Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town.

Jackett's side came from behind twice, with James Henry and Benik Afobe on target at Portman Road.

And the head coach reserved praise for debutant Jordan Graham and substitute Adam Le Fondre, with the players having a hand in Wolves' two equalisers.

"The positives are it's not a bad point at all after we were behind twice," Jackett said.

"I'm disappointed with the goals against. To give them away made it difficult for us.

"But the pluses are the spirit that we showed, an assist by Mike Williamson (who prodded Graham's corner across goal for Henry) when we've needed more of a physical presence in the opposition box.

"There are positives to build on."

Graham, who came off with a slight knock in the second half, was handed his Wolves debut after impressing during a recent loan spell with Oxford.

And the 20-year-old showed great confidence in what was a promising first match in gold and black.

"Kevin Thelwell's done very well to bring him in," Jackett said. "He's only just 20. If he keeps his feet on the floor and working hard then the talent he has will show.

"He's one of a number of good young players at the club and he has a bright future."

The on-loan Cardiff man made a big impact and was involved in most of Wolves' good attacking play in the second half.

"I felt going to a second forward helped us and I possibly should have done so sooner," Jackett added.

"In terms of Adam's contribution, it helped, as did his attitude which was very good.

"He helped create a threat to the opposition which at that particular time of the second half we didn't have.

"With the change he linked well with Afobe and it's a big plus coming back twice."

Jackett, who revealed Carl Ikeme was close to coming off with cramp in his calves and hamstrings, which debilitated him for most of the match, feels a winning run isn't far away.

Wolves have won just one of their last seven matches but two good performances against Burnley and now Ipswich have hinted that the tide could turn before long.

"We're close," Jackett said. "We need to find that consistency. The goals against column again is poor today and we need to improve that.

"While it's a good point, it's an overall run where we want to be doing better.

"Carl Ikeme had cramp in his calves and hamstrings, even in the first half, which is very unusual for a goalkeeper.

"When you consider the amount of travelling he's done to Swaziland and Nigeria within the last week I'm sure that's the reason. He battled through well, it looked like he'd have to come off.

"He's picked himself up and battled through."
