The 20-year-old central defender has been an integral part of Jackett's side so far this season.

And, after losing experienced heads in the summer, he has praised the Wolves chief for looking to youngsters.

The London-born defender, who enjoyed a loan spell with Gillingham towards the end of 2014, took his place in Wolves' back-line upon return and has not looked back since.

Former skipper Richard Stearman was sold to Fulham for £2million after it was reported he was 'being overtaken' by the club's youngsters
