Wolves have travelled to Middlesbrough, Preston and Fulham since they drew 0-0 with leaders Brighton at Molineux last month.

Tuesday's morale-boosting 3-0 win at Fulham has, in the midst of Steve Morgan's surprising decision to sell the club, given Wolves a big boost after poor results in recent weeks.

And Jackett hopes to make it seven points from three matches ahead of the two-week international break.

"You hope that it lifts confidence, for both the players and the supporters," he said.

"Take the confidence, yes, take the optimism and make sure you have the attitude you have to go out and earn points on Saturday.

"It's nice to come back home after three games on the road and with an opportunity for us to show our supporters that we have a good side."

Jackett has welcome selection dilemmas for the clash with the Terriers, with former Huddersfield midfielder Conor Coady returning from a three-game suspension.

He will need to displace either Jack Price or Kevin McDonald, who both impressed at Craven Cottage, while Sheyi Ojo is pushing for a start after scoring one and creating another off the bench in the 3-0 win.

Kenny Jackett, in the midst of his first sticky spell as Wolves boss.

Jackett, though, hinted Ojo may have to wait for his chance.

"It's been interesting for Sheyi since he's been here, he's had some good impact in the game and at 18 I think he has a good future," the Wolves boss said.

"It's very easy for those player to just stay with under-21 football.

"If you have an attitude to do that at 18, particularly at Championship level, it bodes well for the future.

"Particularly as a substitute he's had a very good impact. He has to keep working away at trying to earn that first team shirt and a consistent start.

"I think he's still got a bit to go. You have to always consider the opposition as well and their strengths and weaknesses.

"Where he is at the moment I think is the right place for him."

David Edwards has a chance of featuring in midfield after a quicker than expected recovery from a knee injury.

Jackett said: "I'm reasonably optimistic on Edwards. He has got a chance, we'll see in training.

"It's a good area for us. George Saville hasn't really had many chances and he's a good player as well.

"We want all of those midfield players to be on top form.

"My task is to get other areas as strong as that, for a club like Wolves, that would be great, that's when you really are talking about being successful."

Edwards has been called up to the Wales squad for their crucial Euro 2016 qualifiers against Bosnia and Andorra. And Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause are again named in England's under-21 squad as they take on Kazakhstan.
