George Saville and Jed Wallace will both continue their comebacks from injury when the under-21s face Fulham on Friday.

Wallace made his first appearance in Wolves colours in a 1-0 defeat to Stoke at the weekend, playing the first hour.

And Saville, who like Wallace had been out with a knee injury and missed Wolves' pre-season campaign, played the first half as both players came through unscathed.

Kenny Jackett is lining the two midfielders up for a full 90 minutes at Motspur Park on Friday (7pm).

And then Saville's first-team comeback – and Wallace's first-team debut – could follow in the Capital One Cup tie versus Barnet the following Tuesday.

The Wolves boss attended Saturday's game at the Britannia and was impressed with Wallace.

He said: "It was a very good game, excellent to see on a main pitch against a good side it was really apparent exactly where everybody was.

"Sometimes assessing under-21 games isn't that easy. It was a really good game and a lot of people came out of it with some credit."

A competitive game also featured winger Jordan Graham, midfielder Lee Evans and another recent signing, French left-back Sylvain Deslandes.

Jackett added: "I thought Jordan Graham did well.

"The midfield four of Graham, Saville, Evans and Wallace, that four was very strong, there were some committed performances.

"Deslandes has an

ability to get forward as

well, which he's shown through pre-season and been an interesting player, I've been pleased with him."
