The 18-year-old England youth international has moved to Molineux for the season, at the same time as signing a new long-term contract with the Reds.

He follows Adam Le Fondre in making a temporary switch to Wolves in what has been a productive week behind the scenes.

And Ojo said he was looking forward to making his mark with Kenny Jackett's side.

"The gaffer at Liverpool told me that he wants me to get more experience and Wolves is a great place to do that.

"It's a club moving forward, trying to get promotion. I'm just really happy to be a part of it - hopefully I can make a good impression and do well this season.

"I try to create chances, score goals, I look to get the ball to feet, in behind, hopefully show my pace.

"I like to dribble with the ball and make things happen."

For Wolves fans one of the many pleasing aspects of the two-syllabled Ojo moving to Molineux is that they can easily regale the 'Dicko, Afobe, Sako, it's magic, you know' chant that reverberated around Molineux and at away grounds up and down the country towards the end of last season.

And Ojo said he was exciting at the prospect of linking up with Wolves' fearsome front two.

He added: "I've heard a lot about the attacking force with Benik Afobe and Nouha Dicko so I'm looking forward to linking up with them.

"Hopefully we can create some problems and score some goals.

"The Championship's very physical, you've got to be ready for anything.

"Anything can happen. There are a lot of challenges, I usually get tackled quite a lot and create loads of fouls.

"I've got to be prepared for that but I'm just looking forward to my time here."

Ojo made 11 appearances for Wigan Athletic on loan in the Championship last season.

He joined Liverpool from MK Dons in 2011 and although he hasn't yet featured for the Reds first team, he did go on their recent pre-season tour to Asia.

Ojo also scored the winner in Liverpool's 2-1 friendly win at Swindon Town on Sunday.

"It was really good," he said. "I was happy to get some minutes.

"The manager told me to go on and try to make a difference and luckily I was able to score the winner so it was a good feeling.

"Now my concentration's fully focused on Wolves and hopefully I can make a good impression.

"I'm really excited and hopefully it can be a good season."
