Wolves boss Kenny Jackett believes young match-winner Bright Enobakhare is ready for senior football after the 17-year-old's wonder goal at Doncaster.

Jackett's team ended their pre-season campaign on a high by edging a seven-goal thriller at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Several fringe players impressed during the victory, giving Jackett a poser as he finalises his team for this Saturday's league kick-off at Blackburn Rovers.

But Enobakhare stole the show with a glorious individual winner, taking on three players before slotting home.

Jackett said of the Nigerian teenager: "It was a great individual goal and I'm very pleased with him. He looked strong and around the box he's always going very direct.

"He's done very well, out of the young players he physically looks the strongest and, going into the Championship, you do need to be strong and have power through your team. He's still eligible for our youth side.

"We'll see what he can do this year but his appetite, his desire, his commitment to win the ball back, the physical nature of his game, does suggest he could do something in senior football this year."

Winger Jordan Graham also got on the score-sheet and Jackett thinks there are 'horses for courses' options for his squad.

He said: "I think I know where we want to be. I think I know where we want to be as a club as well."

Out-of-contract Crewe trialist Ryan Colclough is set to remain at Molineux this week, after playing in the second-half against Doncaster.

Wolves were today assessing Jack Price's ankle after the midfielder limped off late in the game.

Jackett added Kevin McDonald is expected to return for Wolves at Blackburn after a slight back problem.
