Wolves ended their pre-season campaign with a record of four wins and two draws - and the duo, both aged 17, caught the eye after being given opportunities to impress.

Enobakhare scored in Wolves' first and final pre-season games, having also netted the winner in the 3-2 victory over French side FC Chambly.

And he book-ended the friendly fixtures with a stunning solo goal, taking on several Doncaster players before coolly slotting home.

Jackett said of the Nigerian-born youngster, who recently signed a new contract: "It was a great individual goal and I'm very pleased with him.

"I thought the goal aside he put on a good performance and showed a lot of appetite, wanted to win the ball back, looked strong and around the box he's always going very direct.

"He has confidence in himself to take players on and that's good to see.

"He's done very well, out of the young players he physically looks the strongest and going into the Championship you do need to be strong and have power through your team.

"He's had a good pre-season and I've been pleased. He's still eligible for our youth team, we'll see what he can do this year but his appetite, his desire, his commitment to win the ball back, the physical nature of his game, does suggest he could do something in senior football this year."

Ronan played some delightful passes in a 32-minute cameo on the right flank.

The 17-year-old has also impressed during the trip to France to the famed Clairefontaine academy, and also featured against Burton as Jackett gave him the opportunity to stake a claim.

"He's an excellent player technically and one obviously we have high hopes for," Jackett said of Ronan.

"It may take him a little bit longer because physically he'll have to come on but he has a low centre of gravity, a terrific work ethic and appetite to play and as we see on a consistent basis a lot of quality when he gets on the ball."

Trialist Ryan Colclough, whose contract with Crewe Alexandra has expired, played in the second half as he bids to win a deal at Molineux.

Jackett said the 20-year-old would remain with Wolves next week until a decision is made.

He added: "It was interesting to watch him, that's his first game, he's with us next week as well and we'll see how he develops."
