Dicko last week put pen to paper on a new three-year contract which keeps him at Molineux until 2018.

The deal ended speculation around his future with Everton thought to be keeping tabs on the former Wigan striker.

He was out of contract next summer but, with his future now decided, Dicko is concentrating on helping fire Wolves to promotion next season.

"I feel good at Wolves, I'm really happy here so I'm delighted to sign a new deal," he said.

"Since I've been here it's been good for me, hopefully there is more to come and it will be even better.

"Things have gone quite well on the pitch and off the pitch with my team-mates, then with the manager, everybody at the football club and the fans as well, they have been good with me.

"It has helped me a lot to settle, to show what I can do and I'm happy that I've been able to do it. Hopefully there's more to come from me."

Dicko has proved a hit with supporters since joining in January 2014.

He formed a prolific partnership with Benik Afobe towards the end of last season and has scored consistently in gold and black, finding the net 27 times in 57 league appearances.

Dicko said it was a pleasure to play for the Wolves supporters.

"For any players the fans are important because when you go to a stadium it's always better to play with a good crowd and at Wolves the crowd is fantastic," he added.

"Last year Bakary was here, Benik came and the fans were all excited about us and the team as well because the team have done really well.

"The fans here are really good and it's a pleasure to play for them when they're happy."

Dicko will wear the number nine shirt next season. And the forward spoke of his pride at donning the shirt.

"I'm really proud to wear this number nine, I've always loved number nine since I was a kid," added Dicko.

"To be able to be the number nine at a club like Wolves is a good achievement."
