Be it a game, a goal, a player being signed, a manager being appointed (or sacked), a flashpoint, a photocall or a fight, we'll bring it to you, every Tuesday and Thursday.

And what better way to kick off than with two of the most important figures in Wolves' history – Stan Cullis and Billy Wright.

Cullis was appointed in June 1948 and ahead of the new season starting a picture was arranged at Molineux with captain Wright shaking Cullis' hand to welcome his new boss.

The pair were of course already well acquainted, having been team mates before injury forced Cullis to retire.

The Express & Star reported that upon being hired Cullis told his team: "I'll back each one of you in every way.

"In return I want 100 per cent from you."

And to Billy Wright he said: "I'm with you all the time, whatever you do on the field.

"If anyone disagrees with your advice we'll have it out with him.

"We must work together if we are to be successful."

It was the start of one of the greatest periods in Wolves' history, or indeed of any English team's history.

At the end of that season Wolves won the FA Cup and over the next 11 years won three league titles, another FA Cup in 1960 and became one of the finest sides in world football.

Cullis certainly got his 100 per cent.
