Wolves announce Aston Villa friendly ticket details

Wolves have released ticket details for their only pre-season friendly at Molineux this summer, against local rivals Aston Villa.

Adult tickets will be £10 and there will be a family ticket offer for £20 for the Tuesday night game on July 28 (kick off 7.45pm).

The upper tier of the Steve Bull stand will be closed, with Villa supporters housed in the lower tier.

The top sections of the Stan Cullis stand and what will then be the Sir Jack Hayward stand will also be closed, creating the 'lower bowl' effect utilised in the FA Cup against Fulham last season.

Concession tickets are £8 and under-12s are £5.

Season tickets seats are not reserved and tickets go on sale on Monday June 29.

Lynne O'Reardon, head of ticketing, said, "This Midlands derby game is the perfect curtain raiser to the new campaign at Molineux and, scheduled within the first week of the school holidays, it's perfect for families.

"We'll be organising lots of pre-match entertainment well ahead of the game so it will be a great afternoon and evening time out for the whole family."

The family ticket must be booked in advance direct with the ticket office and is available in all open stands.

Wolves last faced Villa at Molineux in January 2012.

Former Wolves youngster Robbie Keane returned to Molineux to score twice as Villa edged a 3-2 thriller.

Darren Bent, released by Villa last week, opened the scoring with an early penalty before Michael Kightly equalised.

David Edwards nodded Wolves into a 31st minute lead but loanee Keane struck twice in the second half, with the winner coming just six minutes from time,
