Wolves fans are 'likely' to be able to attend two games during a pre-season trip to France, the club revealed today.

The trip was announced last month and will see Wolves spend a week at the prestigious Clairefontaine academy near Paris from July 5-11.

But fans have been left in limbo after no more details on two scheduled games for July 8 and 10 were forthcoming.

The opposition for those two matches has now been revealed to be FC Chambly and Paris FC.

However, increased levels of security in France following the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attacks earlier this year mean the club has had difficulty arranging for fans to attend the games.

The training base is not set up to accommodate large numbers of supporters.

The club said in a statement: "Wolves have been in discussions to try and secure a limited number of tickets for the Clairefontaine-based games.

"They will be versus FC Chambly on Wednesday July 8 and Paris FC on Friday July 10 and there is likely to be a positive outcome.

"Some tickets being made available in due course, via the Wolves ticket office.

"As Wolves communicated to supporters on May 14, under no circumstances should fans make travel arrangements without a ticket.

"They will be not be allowed entry into Clairefontaine without complying with the necessary security arrangements.

"The majority of clubs don't push Clairefontaine for fan access, preferring the option of private behind-closed-doors games.

"However, Wolves and Clairefontaine officials are trying everything possible to secure the best possible solution for those supporters who would like to attend.

"Wolves would like to thank supporters for their patience and understanding."
