Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett believes the club has enough young talent to progress without departing winger Bakary Sako.

Jackett said the Molineux men will miss the goals and assists which the Malian wideman brings to the team.

The boss said youngsters like Jordan Graham and Connor Hunte could, in time, prove worthy successors.

Sako, who has been linked with Albion and Villa, is out of contract at Molineux and the club are resigned to starting the 2015-16 Championship campaign without him.

But Jackett said: "We all know Sako's a very good player. "He's proven himself in the Championship scoring numerous amount of goals and assists.

"He's done very well for us.

"But we've got a big squad, loads of young quality footballers so hopefully a few of the youngsters on the wings can progress and come up with the first team and fill the boots of Sako.

"We've got a few players who can do that, for example the likes of Jordan Graham and Connor Hunte.

"Even though you haven't seen them in the first team I think they're very good.

"I think Jordan's ready, he's more ready because he's had that experience of playing in the Championship with Ipswich.

"Hopefully he can really push forward and do some good things for us."

Asked if Graham has the same explosive power of Sako, Jacket responded: "He has the power and he's a very quick boy.

"The fans probably haven't seen him play that much, but in training and stuff with the first team he's very tricky and has got a burst of pace.

"He's good and hopefully he can do well and step up to the plate."
