Wolves winger Bakary Sako today confirmed he has offers from Albion and Villa plus other Premier League clubs as he vowed to stay in England.

The out-of-contract winger signed off in style by netting his 15th goal of the season and set up Nouha Dicko and Ethan Ebanks-Landell to score in a man-of-the-match performance in Saturday's 4-2 win against Millwall.

Victory wasn't enough to secure a play-off place as Kenny Jackett's side finished seventh on goal difference behind Brentford in fifth and sixth-placed Ipswich as Derby missed out in eighth.

Sako wants to pursue his dream of Premier League football as he said a tearful farewell to Wolves fans at the weekend.

Asked if he'd had offers from Albion and Villa, he said: "They're both interested but there are other Premier League clubs as well.

"I have some offers from the Premier League and some from abroad, but I want to play in the Premier League."

Sako will decide his future next month as he jets off to play for Mali soon.

Wolves said recently they will be offering the 27-year-old a deal to stay but can't match his £25,000-a-week wages and he can earn much more in the top flight.

"If they talk to me I'll listen but nothing's happened yet," he said. "I can't stay without a contract and hope Wolves are going to make me a good offer. But I have to do the best for me."

Sako insists Wolves will ultimately be stronger if he leaves.

"The club doesn't stop without Bakary Sako and it will be here long after Bakary Sako," he said. "So if I leave they'll find another winger – maybe better than me, you never know.

"This is a really big club and I really hope Wolves are going to be back in the Premier League because the club, the fans and all the staff deserve to be in there."
