Wolves recall Michael Jacobs from Blackpool

Wolves have recalled winger Michael Jacobs from his loan at Championship rivals Blackpool.

The 23-year-old has spent the last month with the Championship strugglers, scoring one goal in five games for the Tangerines.

But with the Seasiders now relegated, Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett has opted to press the recall button and bring the player back to Molineux.

Boss Kenny Jackett said: "We want to be as strong as we possibly can be for the last five games.

"We have to make sure that if we have any fatigue with our wide players we have a good player who is ready to come in.

"I have been impressed with what Michael has done at Blackpool – he has played five games in a short period and is up to speed, which is a big thing at this particular time.

"Going into a vital period we want to be as strong as possible and Michael will help give us that."
