For Wolves captain Danny Batth, life simply cannot get much better at the moment.

Not only are his team flying high and gunning for promotion in the Championship after an impressive run of wins, but he's just met the Chuckle Brothers. Talk about a result.

Paul and Barry met Danny when he visited the Grand Theatre on Saturday and trio teamed up for a selfie.

Famous for their legendary TV show Chucklevision and the catchphrase 'to me, to you', the comedians are starring in their very own spring show at the theatre, The Chuckles of Oz.

After a quick chat and the selfie, Paul posted the picture on Twitter and said: "Nice meeting @Danny_Batth today in Wolverhampton. Good luck with promotion mate #wwfc "

Paul and Barry are huge Rotherham United fans after being born and raised in the South Yorkshire town. Their fame has led them to becoming honorary presidents of the football club, who joined Wolves last year in promotion success from League One after beating Leyton Orient in the play-off final.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Paul said: "When we were last in Wolverhampton performing Rotherham were playing at Molineux and it was an unbelievable game which ended 6-4 to Wolves.

"We were both going for promotion at the time and we managed to get back level at 4-4 before we conceded two goals right at the end. Luckily it didn't have too much an effect on us as we got promoted at Wembley just a few weeks later.

"We try and get to the games when we can but it is not easy because we are often on tour."

Just 24 hours before the visit, Batth led his side to a vital 2-1 win away at Nottingham Forest. And the skipper's Easter Weekend was made to even sweeter just two days later when his in-form Wolves side followed up that victory with a dramatic 4-3 win over Leeds United at Molineux. The win lifted Kenny Jackett's club into the play-off spaces with just five games to go in the season.
