Wolves captain Danny Batth today warned Derby County they will face a different beast in tomorrow's crunch clash at Molineux.

Wolves go into the game three points outside the Championship top six and buoyed by Tuesday's 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

But the reverse fixture in November saw Kenny Jackett's side suffer their lowest point of the season with a 5-0 thrashing.

Batth is likely to be one of five Wolves players who figured that day – along with Matt Doherty, Kevin McDonald, James Henry and Bakary Sako – who will face the Rams again.

And the Molineux skipper is certain they can gain revenge over Steve McClaren's promotion chasers, who could have Villa loanee Darren Bent back from injury.

The Brierley Hill-born defender said: "That was a long time ago now and the squad has changed a fair bit since then.

"I think we've come through that period and hopefully we'll show we're a better side than we were back then.

"Playing in a game like that is all experience. After a few games, players because wiser but you also hope we all become better players as a result as well.

"But hopefully being back at Molineux it will be a very different game, so we'll see how we go."
