Kenny Jackett has challenged Wolves to seize the moment and admitted it is "now or never" for their Championship play-off challenge. more

Jackett has told his players to go for the throat at Brighton tomorrow when they kick off a spell of three games in seven days looking close the four-point gap to the top six.

"We want to do well and play aggressively," said Jackett, whose side lie eighth in the table with 10 games remaining.

"We need to play well, we don't need to be waiting for our opposition to see where they are.

"We have to be right at the game from the whistle and make sure we are as aggressive as possible with our football to be able to go for this win.

"It's a big game for us, and it's an absolutely vital period.

"The games run down we need to keep our form and our momentum.

"We need to really realise and recognise the opportunity that we have because for us at the moment it's now or never.

"There's a great opportunity for us as a club.

"It's a fantastic chance.

"When you play in the Championship the games come quick so it's an opportunity to compete for nine points within seven days.

"The picture can change then, you can catch people."

Wolves head for the Amex Community Stadium for the first time since they were relegated from the Championship there two seasons ago.

And Jackett, who was appointed as head coach just weeks later following the sacking of Dean Saunders, reckons they are heading back to Sussex in better health.

"There have been a lot of changes and changes that needed to be made," said Jackett.

"I felt the supporters needed to focus on a new team and perhaps some younger players from our academy and coming in from outside.

"That change needed to be made, and that has happened over the last year-and-three-quarters.

"It has evolved well but it still needs to keep improving and we are always looking to improve.

"We have made good strides during the team I have been here.

"Suffering a double relegation is something nobody could envisage but after that the most important thing is how you respond."
