Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is pondering reinforcements in a "variety" of positions before the Football League loan window closes a month today.

Wolves have reignited fans' dreams of a Championship play-off place with eight goals in back-to-back home wins in the last week.

But Jackett is still considering strengthening for a final push before the season's last transfer deadline on March 26.

He said: "We haven't got anyone right now and there isn't someone coming in for Saturday, but it's something we are looking at.

"We want to be active and would like to strengthen with the right player, or right players, if we can. It would be a variety of positions we are looking at."

Jackett hopes winger Bakary Sako will be fit to face Cardiff in South Wales on Saturday, after he limped off during the win against Fulham on Tuesday night.

The wide man scored two goals just before half-time following a 10th-minute assist for Danny Batth that helped Jackett's men to a 3-0 win over the Cottagers.

Jackett said: "He was suffering some stomach pains and cramps and was in some discomfort and some pain, so he needed to come off.

"It was maybe a stomach upset and nothing more than that. He came over and said he'd give it a couple of minutes, but then signalled to say it was no good.

"I'm sure in the next day or so that will pass."

And Jackett has pledged to stay on the front foot after his side have hit the goal trail in their last two outings.

He said: "We've found a formula in terms of scoring goals and it shows that going forward we're quite potent. At various stages in the season we haven't had that.

"If we're to have any chance at all we need to keep potent and inventive around that opposition box. We also need to tighten up in other areas – but we must continue to go for the attack."
