Assistant boss Joe Gallen also believes Wolves' front five of Afobe, Nouha Dicko, James Henry or Rajiv Van La Parra and Bakary Sako are "unplayable" when they're on song in the Championship.

The £2m hitman has continued on the goal trail to terrorise the Championship, with five in his first seven games after his brace in Saturday's 5-0 win against Rotherham.

Gallen believes the 22-year-old is destined for the very top.

"How far can he go? There's really no stopping him," said Gallen, who was filling in for head coach Kenny Jackett at yesterday's media briefing as the head coach was ill.

"I've got no doubt, he should be looking at a Premier League career – like a few other of our players as well – with Wolves."

Afobe has now hit 24 goals this season, and with 14 games left before tonight's visit of Fulham, Gallen is convinced the former Arsenal reserve can hit 30.

"Bringing him in has brought a new dimension and I'm sure he'll keep it going," said the former QPR player. Once you've scored 25 goals in a season he'll want 30, he'll be thinking he can score in every game. I think he can.

"He's got to make the right run at the right time and hopefully the players behind him find him, like Kevin McDonald did on Saturday. He's looking like he can do a bit of everything."

Gallen believes no defence can live with Wolves' front five if they click.

"If they're all clicking and all on their game, I think they're unplayable," he said.
