Eighth in the league with 16 games still to be played, Wolves are set for a big push in the last third of the season to get into one of the playoff places up for grabs.

Wolves still have to play six of the seven teams above them, including Saturday opponents Norwich. If they can points from these fixtures, it might just see them get into the playoffs ahead of the likes of The Canaries.

The major concern for Wolves promotion charge is their goal difference. After the 4-1 win away to Huddersfield, the Wanderers goal difference at zero. When you consider Norwich's is 21 Brentford has a goal difference of seven and Watford's is 25, Wolves is incredibly inferior.

Throughout the season, Wolves have stuck with playing one striker with an attacking midfielder just behind. This is a perfectly acceptable tactic, especially away from home when we have been more defensive. However, using these tactics at home to lesser opposition feels overly cautious.

A prime example would be against Blackpool. The Seasiders were bottom of the league and you could sense that if they concede one goal, Blackpool would have conceded several goals.

Afobe celebrates after Dicko after making it 1-4.

The Championship is always a tight and competitive table and the difference between finishing in the playoffs and not could be goal difference. Against an inferior side like Blackpool at we need to be scoring more than two goals to break into the top six.

That's why I feel Wolves win against Huddersfield might be a turning point and see Wolves be more adventurous.

The front four of Dicko, Afobe, Sako and Van La Parra all had major contributions on Tuesday night and caused no end of problems for the Terriers.

The attacking intent showed the best of those players. My main criticism of Van La Parra is he can slow down play and dither on the ball rather than use his pace to cause havoc. His best moment in a Wolves shirt have been when the Dutchman is direct, so if Wolves can continue with this style of play on Saturday it will bring out the best in him and his attacking team mates.

When Wolves last played Norwich, it was both teams first game back in the Championship following relegation for Norwich and promotion for Wolves.

Wolves ran away deserved winners as they wowed fans with their passing football as they won the game with a Dave Edwards header.

Since then Norwich have changed have a manager in Alex Neil and are also competing with Wolves for a playoff place to try and secure a immediate return to the Premier League.

Norwich were able to keep hold of some key players from their time in the top flight. Nathan Redmond is dangerous at this level and will probably make a return to the Premier League before too long and Michael Turner is a very good defender at this level. They've also bolstered their ranks with players like Cameron Jerome and Carlos Cuellar.

Wolves will most likely play the same team who started at Huddersfield, with Afobe playing up front with Dicko. I think Jackett won't risk Scott Golbourne and will favour Kortney Hause at left back.

Norwich are in good form ahead of Saturday's game and considering how close both teams they are in the league, I can see Wolves and Norwich cancelling each other out and it being a draw.
