Wolves responded to their 2-1 defeat against Reading by producing their biggest win of the season with a 4-1 victory at bogey side Huddersfield last night.

Nouha Dicko struck twice, sandwiching a Conor Coady own goal and one from Benik Afobe on his return to his first loan club.

It was the first time Dicko and Afobe have started a game together and the Molineux head coach believes the pair can make a real difference to Wolves.

Jackett said: "There were two attacking sides but I felt our finishing was the difference and it was clinical.

"It was the first time I have started Benik and Nouha together and they were a threat, and at 21 and 22, they have a bit of everything.

"They showed some promise so it will be interesting now to see how their Wolves careers develop now.

"It was an open game and we went there to attack and Huddersfield, who have some potent players, didn't sit off us.

"We're slowly adapting to the division but we really need a sprint finish to get ourselves in the promotion places."

Meanwhile, as Jackett celebrated the impact of two relatively new strikers, one established one is set to bring his near six-year Wolves career to an end.

Doyle is set to move to the United States with Colorado Rapids. It's been reported that the MLS club have offered the 31-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, a three-year deal.

Their season starts next month and runs to November. Should the deal go through, it would represent a major saving on his wages, as Doyle is the club's highest earner at £40,000-a-week.
