Wolves are set for a twin boost with the return of Scott Golbourne and Razak Boukari next week.

Left-back Golbourne has recovered from a recurrence of his long-term foot problem and Boukari has shaken off a week-long ankle injury that followed a torn hamstring.

The pair are set to return in an Under-21s game against Brentford on Tuesday as head coach Kenny Jackett dismissed rumours of Golbourne leaving the club after he was linked with Rotherham.

"Both Boukari and Golbourne are getting close to a game," said Jackett. "They both look ready and fit.

"Scott has been training this week – this is his first week back.

"The medical staff are very keen that he has a period where he comes through without it re-occurring.

"We're taking it day-by-day. He's back training, the plan is for him to play in some games soon. There's actually an Under-21s game against Brentford next Tuesday and we'll see."

Boukari is also ready for action.

"Boukari's in full training and in a similar situation," confirmed Jackett.

But the Molineux boss insisted Golbourne is staying put.

The former Bristol City, Reading and Barnsley man has seen Tommy Rowe replace him before he got injured, while Matt Doherty and Kortney Hause have also been used at left-back recently.

Jackett said: "Scott won't be going out on loan.

If and when he's ready, he'll come back into the first team group straight away."

Meanwhile, Kevin Doyle has returned from a three-month stint at Crystal Palace.

"Crystal Palace have decided not to take him so they've sent him back," said Jackett.

"He'll come back, train with us and work away professionally as he always does."
