Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett will have "no hard feelings" when Jamie O'Hara returns to Molineux on Saturday.

The former 'Bomb Squad' midfielder arrives with Blackpool to the club where he was frozen out of first-team football, amid a fractious relationship with Wolves supporters.

Former Tottenham midfielder O'Hara was limited to Under-21 outings before his contract was terminated by mutual consent last August.

O'Hara returns to face the fan-base he notoriously gave a sarcastic thumbs up to at Brighton when Wolves slumped to a second successive relegation in 2013.

Jackett said: "He's an opposition player. We want to do well on Saturday as we would against anybody – no more or no less, because it's somebody that used to play here.

"We always want to win and we'll want to win just as much as he will at the weekend for various reasons.

"Our fans can think and speak for themselves so that's up to them – it's their choice definitely. But there are no hard feelings on a personal level whatsoever.

"I felt it was the right thing for Jamie to move on. I think it was right for both parties to move on and sometimes that's the case in football.

"I'm really pleased he got himself set up with a Championship club and by the looks of it, he's playing regularly.

"He's signed until the end of the season so he can stay in the side and they can do well."

O'Hara's Tangerines beat Millwall 1-0 last Saturday and are looking to spark a run of form, as they bid to escape the Championship relegation places.

The 28-year-old has made 10 appearances for Lee Clark's team as he bids to re-establish his playing career. "He'll want to establish himself in the Championship again and then he'll be looking up again.

"He's not in advancing years for a footballer – he's probably at his peak, so he will be wanting to progress I'm sure."

The Wolves chief added: "Like a lot of players' careers, he's played in three of the four divisions.

"I can't ever remember him in League Two, although he did have a spell on loan at Chesterfield, but I think that was in League One – I think we played them at Millwall (while Jackett was in charge at the Den).

"It's a good opportunity he has (at Blackpool) anyway."
