After making it five games in a row undefeated in all competitions, there seems to be a growing optimism around Wolves again.

No doubt Dominic Iorfa breaking into the first-team and the re-emergence of Jack Price have created a more positive atmosphere,

Our hapless form in November has not been forgotten by fans, but back to back wins over a jam-packed festive period appears to have undone a fair amount of the damage done in November.

Wolves now sit eighth in the Championship, a place above our opponents on Sunday, Blackburn Rovers.

Rovers are in a patchy run of form at the moment, winning once in the last five in the league. They may be inconsistent, but Blackburn possesses two strikers who can help decide any fixture.

Jordan Rhodes is a proven goal scorer at this level with 9 goals this season, but it is Rudy Gestede who is the club's top goalscorer with 12 to his name.

Fortunately for Wolves, centre-backs Stearman and Batth seem to have rediscovered their form from the start of the season to nullify the threat of Rhodes and Gestede.

Wanderers will be without Bakary Sako on Sunday and it will be interesting who Jackett brings in to replace him.

Van La Parra seems the most likely option to play on the left wing with Henry on the right, but there is a chance for forgotten-man Michael Jacobs to come back into the first-team.

Jacobs has found appearances hard to come by this season with Jackett seeming to prefer Dave Edwards in a more advanced role.

But with Sako unavailable until at least the end of the month, this might be Jacobs' chance in the starting line-up.

It will also be interest if Korntey Hause is brought back into the first team after he was ineligible to play against Fulham, or will use the more experienced Matt Doherty at left-back.

Hause has performed very well at full-back and has shown why he is an England youth international.

But he will find it hard to break back into the team if Doherty starts ahead of him and natural left-back Scott Golbourne due to be fit in the next few weeks.

Regarding the result on Sunday, I think Wolves can carry on this steady run of form again now they are playing with a steady back four and Nouha Dicko as the focal point.

I think the boys in Gold and Black will win 1-0, getting us one step further to a place in the play-offs.
