Wolves midfielder James Henry insists the team are 'back on track' following their FA Cup draw with Fulham at the weekend.

Saturday's 0-0 stalemate at Craven Cottage made it five games unbeaten in league and cup for Kenny Jackett's promotion-chasers, who are currently eighth in the Championship and just three points off the play-off places.

The run of results marks a significant turnaround for the team, which had previously lost five matches on the spin in November and early December, with the defence heavily criticised for leaking goals.

And Henry said: "The last six games have been a big improvement, we've got goals and we've looked like scoring in every game.

"We're back on track and we've got to keep pushing and working hard to produce those sort of performances every week."

The Fulham cup clash, which will now go to a third round replay, marked the first time in six games – a run including a 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth last month – in which Wolves had failed to score.

But it also saw the Molineux side claim a third clean sheet in five matches, and Henry said the Wolves back line has played a crucial role in their recent revival.

The former Millwall midfielder said: "We work on defending from the front all week and the back line's been fantastic.

"Dominic (Iorfa's) come in and looks like he's been there his whole life.

"'Richard Stearman and Danny Batth have been fantastic. We looked on the video the other day and the amount of blocks Stears gets in in a game is quite amazing.

"He probably doesn't get enough credit for it. He's been fantastic, especially since he's been back in the team.

"He's been outstanding and been a big catalyst for those clean sheets. We try to defend as a team and I think it's working at the moment."

Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme has also come in for praise after claiming his 10th clean sheet of the season on Saturday.

His latest solid display included a vital late block to deny Fulham a winner and Henry said: "It was a great block and that's what you need.

"You can never switch off in these kind of games, you've got to concentrate for 90 minutes.

"Against Fulham, they had little spells and we did well when they had them but I think, in terms of chances, we dominated them."
