Video: Captain and boss on Wolves draw
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett felt both sides had reasons to be aggrieved with the officials after Danny Batth salvaged a late point against struggling Brighton.
Batth's late strike earned Wolves a point, but Jackett was bewildered by referee Darren Bond's earlier decision not to award Nouha Dicko a penalty.
He gave the spot kick only to then change his mind and book the striker for diving.
Jackett also felt Brighton were hard done by with the sending off of midfielder Bruno Saltor a few minutes later.
He said: "With the penalty incident, I felt that the ball is past the goalkeeper and he's caught Dicko, but I also feel that the ball is then going wide.
"I don't think he was in a goalscoring position so whether that affected the ref'sthinking I don't know but he didn't initially run straight over to his linesman– he seemed very, very clear in his own mind.
"Then he's changed his mind. It's unusual to do that. You do see people take their time over decisions. Maybe if they're not sure, then go over and have a meeting with the linesman, you do see that happen.
"But he seemed very adamant in his initial reaction that was straight away to point to the spot.
"I did think there was contact – I didn't think there was much but I did think there was contact, definitely.
"But the ball was then after that going wide – he could perhaps have got away with a penalty and a booking. To book him for diving was harsh.
"Looking at Brighton's sending-off, it was very, very similar to Matt Doherty's for us two weeks ago.
"I've seen it on the video. He played the ball first and then the follow-through was deemed over-aggressive."
