Wolves boss Kenny Jackett today admitted the team has missed Scott Golbourne as he weighed up a possible recall for the left-back.

Golbourne has missed the last six games, three with a foot injury after he initially lost his place to Tommy Rowe.

Rowe was then replaced by captain Sam Ricketts at left-back for the 5-0 defeat at Derby and the skipper was one of the few players to come through with his reputation intact.

That left head coach Jackett with a dilemma as to who to play for today's visit of Nottingham Forest.

"We'll see what we do with Golbourne because I think the team has missed him and he does bring a lot when he plays," said Jackett.

"But I'll see if he's fit first. If he is OK, I don't think he'll need a lot of training because he's a very fit player."

Meanwhile, Jackett is confident Ethan Ebanks-Landell will be better for the experience of the 5-0 demolition at Derby.

"I don't think he's been affected – he's a determined young man," said the boss.

"Part of professional football is handling disappointments mentally as much as anything, then working out what your strengths are, play to those, and start to then eradicate your weaknesses as far as you can."

Sedgley-based keeper Jonathan Flatt has earned a 28-day loan to Conference Premier side Wrexham as reward for being among Wolves' best Under-21s players this season and is set to make his debut today against Altrincham.
