Boss Kenny Jackett today urged Wolves to use the Molineux roar to get their Championship promotion challenge back on track.

Jackett's men return to home turf on Saturday to face Nottingham Forest after defeats at Ipswich and Derby in their last two outings.

And the Wolves boss reckons home advantage could be vital to his team as they look to return to winning ways.

"It seems a long time since we've played at home and it's a great opportunity for us," said Jackett.

"We want to get back to our best performances and we've got to put on a good display at home and really get that crowd behind us.

"Both Ipswich and Derby did that. At Derby we conceded a header from a set-piece and a wide free-kick and all of a sudden we brought 30,000 people into play.

"You may concede but if you do, you want to make them do something special, rather than concede the goals we did in the first half, which were very poor from us and that brought the crowd into play.

Travelling fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers clapped on defiantly at Derby County.

"Playing at home again, that's what we want to do. We have to play good football, we must attack, go forwards and be at our very best, and then Wolves can be a great place.

"And then off the back of that we can have a good home record."

And Jackett is confident his players can avoid any lasting scars from their back-to-back away defeats.

"We have to be determined to put that out of our system," he said.

"We have to be aggressive enough in our approach to push that to one side and fight back because that's how football is.

"You have dips – you don't want them but you do have them – and you have to then bounce back.

"It's really important for us to show some competitiveness, some determination and some organisation defensively."
