The 21-year-old was three appearances into a three-month loan but his temporary spell in London has been curtailed after hobbling off in the Os' 2-0 win at Keepmoat Stadium.

Price replaced broken leg victim Lloyd James but is now out himself although it's not clear yet how long for.

"Losing Jack is a big blow and the injuries certainly aren't going for us at the moment," said Os interim manager Kevin Nugent.

"Jack's been a great addition - he was having a really good game as well at Doncaster.

"When he came in I knew what he was capable of in terms of keeping the game ticking over and he has good defensive instincts as well, so it's disappointing."

The Shrewsbury-born academy graduate helped the Brisbane Road outfit to an unbeaten three games with a win and two draws and two clean sheets.

Price joined the Os after a month on loan at their League One rivals Yeovil Town, where he played seven times.

He had fallen down the pecking order at Molineux behind Kevin McDonald, Lee Evans, George Saville and Tommy Rowe.
